Using Warm Season Annuals

Using Warm Season AnnualsThis season, look for warm-season annuals, such as Penta, Vinca, Coleus and Marigolds, to fill in between young perennial plants. And check out all the other interesting and unusual annuals that are available to add color to your garden.  Annuals will only last for a season, but unlike the longer-living perennials, they don’t have to store energy for next year’s growth so they will just keep blooming and blooming all season, especially if you keep the faded flowers trimmed off (deadheaded) so they don’t set seed.
